What it does and how it feels
One filter where the water comes into your home, so every tap is covered: kitchen, bathroom, shower, bath, dishwasher and washing machine. The water tastes and smells clean, with no swimming-pool note. Showers are gentler on skin and hair because the chlorine is gone. Your boiler, hot water system and appliances are protected from limescale, as ScaleStar™ turns hardness minerals into tiny crystals that flow through instead of building up as hard scale. On taps, glass and in the kettle you may still see light marks, and they wipe off more easily. There's no salt to top up, no waste water and no electricity, and healthy minerals stay in the water.
About PURELINE Ultra
Our most complete system. An extra stage does the heavy lifting on chlorine, heavy metals and organics before the carbon block polishes the water, so the filters perform at a higher rate for longer. Then ScaleStar™ protects your boiler and appliances from limescale. It is made for larger homes and anyone who wants the best-feeling and best-tasting water, and it needs a utility room or double cabinet for installation.
How it works
PURELINE fits where the water comes into your home, so every tap, shower and appliance gets filtered water. A carbon filter reduces chlorine and bad tastes and smells. Then ScaleStar™ turns hardness minerals into tiny crystals that flow through instead of building up, which protects your boiler and appliances from limescale.

- Stage 3

What customers say
Finally found a water filter that works
“For the first time in years, my skin feels comfortable after every shower, and I'm not constantly replacing filters or trying different products to find something that works.”
Gerardo JimenezVerified Trustpilot review Skin feels so much better

EnnisVerified Trustpilot review Noticeable results from PuraVero
“Since installing my PuraVero whole-house water system, my skin no longer feels tight or dry after a shower, genuinely much softer now. As a bonus, I've completely stopped using heavy chemical cleaners because limescale barely builds up anymore!”

Frequently asked questions
What's the flow rate?
Up to 66 litres per minute, and works best at around 33 L/min. That's roughly three showers running at the same time.
Will it lower my water pressure?
There's a small, even drop of about 3–5%. Most homes won't notice it.
How often do I replace the filters, and what does it cost?
2–3 people: GAC/KDF every 12 months, Carbon (CTO) every 12 months, ScaleStar™ every 24 months. 4–5 people: GAC/KDF every 12 months, Carbon (CTO) every 12 months, ScaleStar™ every 24 months. 6–8 people: GAC/KDF every 9 months, Carbon (CTO) every 9 months, ScaleStar™ every 24 months. Replacement filters: 20" GAC/KDF filter £89, 20" Carbon filter (CTO) £99, 20" ScaleStar™ filter £199. That works out at £287.50 a year for 2–3 people. Pick your household size under Filters & running costs on this page to see your own figure.
Where does it go?
On your incoming cold mains, straight after the internal stop tap and before the boiler or cold water tank, so every tap gets filtered water. Common spots are under the kitchen sink, a utility room, or a garage or cupboard. You'll need wall space for the unit (see dimensions) and about 7 cm clear underneath to change filters. A bypass valve lets you keep water running while you change them.
How long does installation take? Can I fit it myself?
A plumber usually fits it in 2–4 hours without major changes to your plumbing. Otherwise, choose “Need it installed? Talk to us” at checkout and we'll arrange a fixed-price install through our partner plumbers.
Does it remove the minerals I want?
No. Calcium and magnesium stay in the water. ScaleStar™ changes them into crystals that flow through instead of building up as hard scale, rather than taking them out. That's why your water still tests hard.
Is it a water softener?
No. It's a whole-house filter with limescale protection built in. It protects your boiler and appliances from hard scale, but it doesn't remove hardness, so water still tests hard and won't have the slippery soft-water feel. If fully soft water is the goal, a salt softener is the right tool, and PureLine can sit alongside one.
Will I still see limescale?
Your boiler, pipes and appliances are protected. On glass, taps and in the kettle you may still see light marks where water dries. They wipe off more easily.
Will it remove limescale I already have?
No. It protects against new build-up. Descale kettles, taps and shower heads once after installation.
Warranty and guarantee?
5-year warranty on the hardware and a 90-day money-back guarantee.
